Since the majority of our customers are key retailers in Europe, Teeling has chosen to standardize the quality systems to the standards of the International Food Standard (German & French retailers) approved by the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI).

Teeling Petfood will share a common build up of the Teeling Quality System in each production plant. Each recipe is designed to produce safe, nutritional and palatable products meeting the requirements of the internationally acknowledged nutrient profiles of NRC (National Research Council), AAFCO (Association of American Feed Control Officials) and FEDIAF (European Pet Food Industry Federation).

We are aware of our role in the animal feed chain, placing emphasis on the integration of quality assurance. Teeling Petfood will take consideration of the environmental, hygiene and ethical aspects with respect to local and European legal demands and common local practice. Good Manufacturing Practices and Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points ensure good plant hygiene and product safety. Teeling Petfood is also a certified organic producer, registered with Skal under the number 14052.
